Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

St. Peter’s Quilters

Who we are and what we do

St. Peter’s Quilters come from a long period of service to the church. The Martha Sewing Circle, organized in 1925 as a special interest group of the Ladies Aid Society, made carpet rags, bibs for the Emmaus Home and cancer dressings. They also quilted (sewed the patchwork top, batting and backing together) occasionally for members.

Continuing to grow our tradition of quilting, we offer quilting and sewing classes to members of our church as well as our community. Activities include charity quilts for Answers for Angels and Project Linus as well as providing service quilts to our Veterans. Our group is very active in the Operations Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse.

We are committed to growing our church fellowship in service through quilting. All are welcome

Our scheduled events will be posted in the church calendar on this website or on St. Peter’s UCC Facebook page as well as in the community calendar of the Frankfort Station newspaper.
